Madonna delivered yet another Dazzling Show!
The Queen of POP delivered another stunning show as usual. She clearly wanted this show to be special and memorable, and it certainly was with the Japanese Shogun costumes in the intro. Madonna descended from the sky in a cage as her warriors bowed to her, launching into the Last Supper act. To everyone's surprise, she resurrected 'True Blue,' nearly causing me to piss my pants. It was wonderful to hear a great oldie, as she rarely performs one. Then, onto the sizzling Latin medley, she pulled out 'Dress You Up' albeit salsa, another treat for longtime fans like me who were screaming for joy. Just as you thought she was about to close the vault, she reaches in and pulls out 'Who's That Girl' WOW! Get this, she incorporates 'Love Doesn't Live Here Anymore' with 'Heartbreak City.' Who would have thought all these oldies would ever appear on a set list? She clearly wanted to please her longtime fans, and boy did she. The final act, I call the roaring 20s meet Art Deco, marks the return of 'Material Girl,' and it was a stunner, a crowd pleaser as you might expect, concluding with the another return, the 'Holiday' encore. As for the imagery, it was dazzling as usual. Wait until you see the dancers atop the Bendable Poles; it will blow your mind. I am certain with the costumes and inspired setlist, 'Rebel Heart Tour' will rank as one of the best tours. I know I do!
